Mapping Models

Utilizing aerial photography and high powered software, maps of higher fidelity than typically found online are possible.  Applicable in real estate, construction, outdoor venues, event planning, and more.

Aerial mapping has multiple applications in many industries.  Low flying drones can capture thousands of high definition photographs.  Those photographs can be combined into what is called an orthomosaic, providing highly precise and accurate representations of the earth’s surface.   In applications where survey grade products are not required, drone imagery can be a cost effective way to capture precise overhead views for inspections, time progressions, event planning, etc.

Applicable to real estate, construction, industrial, entertainment and sporting venues, and more.  Embedded measurement tools allow quick measurement of distance, area, and volume.

See an example below of Google maps (created by satellite imagery) compared to an orthomosaic created from drone imagery and overlaid on a Google Map.  Zoom into each and compare.   Three levels of resolution are available.  The ultimate resolution vary based on terrain and safety of flight considerations.

3 levels of resolution are available, depending on the need of the project.  The higher the resolution, the more computer processing and time required for the image to be created.  Zoom into the images below to see the differences.  Click on the title to enter full-screen.
